Our Wedding

Christina and Tanner first met in the fall of 2018 as freshmen at Michigan State University. They both lived in the same dorm, and thanks to a floor dinner their RAs put together, they instantly became friends. They quickly grew close to each other, attending football games, studying in the Mason Hall lounge, and talking late into the night about anything and everything. One night Tanner asked Christina if she wanted to go with him to Horrocks Farm Market. Whether or not that was their first date is highly debated, but on the long walk back from Tanner's car to the dorm, they knew they had something special. After graduation, they moved to Boston together to start their careers. They shared many great memories, including their first apartment together, a trip to Vermont in a moth-infested hotel room, and countless visits to the 24-hour bakery in Boston's North End. On December 2, 2023, Tanner and Christina spent the day exploring downtown Boston. It was a beautiful day, and Tanner suggested a walk around the Back Bay Fens, a large park in the city with a pond in the center. It was by the pond where he proposed and Christina made the easiest decision of her life. They celebrated that night with a delicious sushi dinner and tickets to the Boston Pops Christmas symphony, thrilled to be spending the rest of their lives together. Since then, Tanner and Christina have made many memories together, including new jobs, lots of vacations, and a move back to Michigan, and they have a lifetime more to make. ---------------------------------------------------------- We are so grateful for everyone in our lives that have shaped who we are, and can't wait to celebrate our wedding with you!

For our out of state guests: the Michigan Flyer will pick up/drop off at Detroit Metro Airport and right outside the Marriott East Lansing—our venue! There are multiple trips daily and it's a great way to get to and from our venue without renting a car!
